ASID, NCIDQ
Faten Baassiri, a lifelong designer fueled by creativity, is dedicated to crafting impactful spaces with meticulous attention to refined details and a penchant for pushing design boundaries. In 2023, she achieved NCIDQ certification, a prestigious recognition for highly qualified interior designers.
She manages a range of interior design projects, from small-scale creations to significant residential and commercial ventures. Notably, she received the 2013 Global Impact Grant Award for her volunteer work in renovating a Pediatric Chemo Unit, while collaborating with NGOs, medical suppliers, contributors, and leading the design team.
Having relocated to New York, she continued to undertake diverse interior design projects across the city, accumulating over 10 years of multidisciplinary experience, handling partial and full renovations, space improvements, FF&E, client presentations, bespoke and custom furniture, renderings, consultation, contractor estimates, on-site follow-ups, project management, and more.
Simultaneously, she created En-Suite, a collection of home products inspired by geometric forms and patterns. Her designs were showcased at the 2017 Chelsea Market event. Committed to community development, she empowered underprivileged women through fabrication assignments, providing them an opportunity to leverage their craft.
With a B.A. in Interior Architecture and a Master’s degree in Design from Milan, and after working at various design firms, Faten's expertise extends beyond interior design, encompassing bespoke furniture design, consultancy for architects, product design, urban furniture, and more.

" I draw inspiration from nature, history, museums, art, and the diverse perspectives of my clients. Using the 3 C's — curiosity, comprehension and creativity — I try to conceptualize designs that not only look appealing but also evoke profound emotions. Design is fluid, adapting to the unique nature of each project, shaping its form and purpose. It's not just about how the outcome develops but also about how you want it to feel."
