Brief - Chindia: the biggest and fastest leading emerging economy of the 21st century, occurring in both China and India, where one third of the world’s population resides. Veneta Cucine, a solely italian manufacturing company, famous for its quality and designs, plans on producing its products in one of these countries, and widening its market in the region. It might seem easy to propose a kitchen unit for a young working generation living in the cities, however many dilemmas are in subject and have to be well thought-out.
Lure = One kitchen unit created by the opposing forces of yin and yang, following the Chinese Feng Shui philosophy. Both are interdependent, in a constant fight to reach equilibrium, with the help of the five elements of nature: water, fire, wood, metal and earth. Each has a significant existence in the kitchen’s four basic functions: cleaning, cooking, storing and preparing. Following each purpose and each element’s passive or active features, the functions and appliances are either pulled out or sucked-in to form a continuous wall, with a balanced profile of a Chinese calligraphy.
